Jesse Passenier was commissioned to write a composition for the Summer Wind Academy Thorn, a great festival featuring workshops and concerts, situated in the famous and stunning ‘white little town’ Thorn. The composition he wrote, featured the great jazz trumpeter and local hero Carlo Nardozza.
He chose to take a theme that would be one of concern to both participents and audience: what is it like to be human? Integrating his own philosofical view on this, he came up with the piece Human Being, a study of the inner world of being human.
